The Wall of thanks is a special because they are the friends and family that have made The old World Cafe come to life.  The businesses and trade workers featured in this area have our highest endorsement and thanks.  We will forever be in their debt and will always be a part of out OWC family.

Jeremy Hatch- Electrician

From the ceilings to the floors including the ventilation and hood system, Jeremy has been a huge part of the design and mechanics of the entire electrical system.  Weekends, evenings and holidays, Jeremy was here working.   Without his efforts there would be no OWC.

Jim Steen & HMP group

Jim has been a godsend to the OWC.  He joined us still in the end of the construction phase but still we had a long way to go.  Always willing to answer questions and take our calls, HMP is a family business that is an asset to Findlay!  We appreciate Jim and his dad John for all their help and support.

Steve Bilger-general construction

Steve answered an ad I placed on Craigs list for help. He can out and took one look at the building and said...its gotta come down!  He was referring to all the siding covering the windows.  An idea we wanted but could not afford.  He volunteered his time and removed all the siding, fixed all the ledges and repaired all the frames.  Steve brought the sunlight into the building.  Thank you!!

Mike Smith & Justin Coffman

Day after day, mike would come here on his spare time and help paint, move equipment, clean..whatever it took.

Diane Zeyen-Menus

Thank you to Diane who has been a dear friend of our family for several years now.  I created it, but she gave it life.  A menu is the backbone of any restaurant and because of Diane, I have an amazing printed menu.

Rusty Rush- Affortable flooring

Rusty stopped in just to see what was going on.  He asked us what we were doing about flooring and heard through the grapevine that we were struggling.  We had the carpet but no one to install it!   Rusty came in with his team and the next thing you know....we had carpet!  419-722-6693

Joe Bayliff- The Architect

Joe is the mind behind the design and restoration of the OWC.  Always willing to accept my many phone calls and emails with thousands of questions, he answered every last one.  Joe has a great future ahead of him and the highest endorsement from he OWC.

Kenn Hughes

My brother got in his car and drove 12 hrs when he heard that his sister and mother needed help! An example of what we are all about...Family.

Uncle Larry and Auntie Gina

Literally got in their camper and drove from Florida.  Gina was a childhood friend of my moms from high school and her family has always been family to us.
